QR Brand started with a simple frustration: every “free” QR tool wanted an account, uploaded my images to somebody else's server, or quietly made codes that would stop working once a trial ended. So I built the tool I wanted — one that does the job in the browser and gets out of the way.
Today QR Brand places QR codes on images in bulk, generates Wi-Fi and contact codes, scans codes from screenshots, and helps you size them for print. All of it runs 100% client-side: there is no backend that ever sees your files.
How it's built
- Next.js 14 + React + TypeScript, statically generated and served from Vercel's edge.
- Canvas-based image pipeline for compositing, resizing and exporting PNG, JPG, WebP and multi-page PDF.
- Client-side ZIP generation for batches of hundreds of images, without a server round-trip.
- Code-split tools so the page paints fast and heavy libraries load only when needed.
