vCard QR code generator

Turn your contact details into a QR code. When someone scans it, their phone offers to save you as a new contact — name, number, email, company and website, all in one tap. Ideal for business cards, email signatures and event badges.

vCard vs. a link to your profile

A vCard code saves your details offline in one tap, which is perfect for in-person networking. A link code (to your website or LinkedIn) is smaller and can be updated without reprinting. Many people put a vCard code on the back of their business card and a link code on their website.

Frequently asked questions

What is a vCard QR code?

A QR code containing a vCard — the standard contact-card format phones use. Scanning it opens a “save contact” screen pre-filled with your details.

Why is my vCard QR code so dense?

Every field adds characters, and more characters mean more modules. Leave out fields you don't need, and print the code at least 2.5 cm (1 in) wide.

Is my personal information stored?

No. The code is generated in your browser. Your details are never sent to or stored on a server.

Can I update my details later?

Static vCard codes contain the details themselves, so a change means a new code. If you change jobs often, consider a code that links to a profile page you control instead.
