Step by step

  1. 1

Export your flyer as a high-resolution PNG or JPG (300 DPI if it will be printed).

  2. 2

Generate a QR code for your event, sign-up, or landing page.

  3. 3

Place it near your call to action — “Scan to get tickets” — and size it for the viewing distance.

  4. 4

Export as PNG for the highest quality, or PDF to send straight to a printer.

Tips for best results

  • The 10:1 rule

A QR code scans reliably from about ten times its own width. A poster viewed from 2 meters away needs a code at least 20 cm wide. Use our QR code size calculator to check.

  • Tell people why to scan

A code with a short label (“Scan for the full lineup”) gets far more scans than a code on its own.

  • Keep the source resolution

Leave the output size on Original so the printed file keeps its full resolution.

Frequently asked questions

Will the QR code be sharp when printed?

Yes, as long as your source image is high resolution. The QR code is drawn at the image's native resolution, so a 300 DPI flyer stays 300 DPI.

Is there a watermark?

No. QR Brand never adds a watermark or branding to your files.
