Mug design tips

  • Keep key elements centred. Anything near the left and right edges of the print area ends up beside the handle.
  • Leave a margin top and bottom. Mug presses can shift a few millimetres.
  • Left- or right-handed? Use the Left side / Right side buttons to check what each person sees while drinking.

Frequently asked questions

What print size does an 11 oz mug use?

The standard full-wrap print area for an 11 oz mug is about 8.5 × 3.5 inches. The print file you download is 2550×1050 pixels at 300 DPI with a transparent background.

Why spin the mug?

A flat design looks different once it wraps around a cylinder — text near the edges curves away, and the area by the handle is hidden. Spinning shows you what people will actually see from each side.

Where should I put a QR code on a mug?

Opposite the handle (the front), at least 3 cm wide. Codes that wrap too far around the curve become hard to scan.

Is it free?

Yes — free, no account, no watermark, and nothing is uploaded.
