How to make a QR code
- Pick the type of content: link, text, Wi-Fi, contact, email, SMS or phone.
- Fill in the details — the preview updates as you type.
- Choose a dot style and colors, and optionally upload your logo.
- Download PNG or SVG and scan it with your phone to test.
Design tips that keep codes scannable
- Contrast first. Dark code on a light background. Avoid light-on-dark unless you test it on several phones.
- Keep the quiet zone. Leave a margin around the code equal to about four modules (the small squares).
- Shorter content, simpler code. Long URLs produce dense codes. Use a short, clean link where you can.
- Logo at 20–25%. Error correction is raised automatically when you add a logo, but don't let it grow too large.
Want the code on a photo, flyer or social post? Use the add-QR-code-to-image editor, or check how large to print it with the QR code size calculator.
